Magnolia Bloom

Magnolia Bloom

My latest finished object: the Magnolia Bloom by Camilla Vad.

Verdict: My favourite element must be the yoke. Such a beaut! Also, I had only 6 balls of the Nepal in my stash (and 8g leftover from another ball), so I had to manage the yarn very carefully to make sure I had enough to complete it. The meterage on the Nepal isn’t brilliant, with only 75 metres per ball. However, I find the whole garment too oversized for my liking. In particular, the yoke is far too deep. Not my favourite fit, for sure.

Would I make this again? While it was a very VERY quick knit affording near instant gratification, which is always welcome, and I thoroughly enjoyed working the lace yoke, I am not sure I would want to make such a bulky garment again. I think it may have to remain a one-of-a-kind jumper in my wardrobe.
