Sunday morning self care.
(Sorry, another WIP!!!) This is a very simple ribbed hat I started in the car on our way to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, where we spent our Christmas holidays. I worked on it during the drive up, but it’s been sort of hibernating since. It’s been sitting on my WIPs pile for weeks, and every once in a while, I’ll pick it up, knit a few rounds and sit it back down.
It’s a beautifully calming colour combo, but a bit too muted for me, it’s more of a process project, I enjoy seeing the stitches forming on my needles, but I’m not sure I’ll want to wear it in the end, it looks a tad too light for me.
Not following a pattern, as it is very basic, but I did add a slipped stitch “fold” to mark the fold line, which I’m rather proud of.
